What is the difference between rung ladders and stairs?
The main difference between rung ladders and stairs is that a rung ladder is a vertical set of rungs usually installed at 75° slope. Access stairs on the other hand are a construction designed to bridge a large vertical distance by dividing it into smaller vertical distances.
When is fall protection needed on access ladders?
Fall protection in the form of a cage or a vertical line is usually recommended at heights of 3.5 meters and above.
